Altiora - Time-Limited Print

What's the difference between paper and canvas prints?

First, what is an art print?

An art print is a high-quality reproduction of my original painting. It captures the colours and details of the artwork, allowing you to enjoy the same image in your home without purchasing the original, one-of-a-kind painting.

I offer two different types of prints, each with its own look and feel.

Fine Art Paper Prints

Printed on beautiful, thick fine art paper, these have a smooth, elegant finish, with lovely detail and colour.

They arrive unframed, carefully rolled in a protective tube, so you can choose your own frame to suit your home.

Perfect if: You love the look of traditional framed artwork and want the freedom to choose your own frame.

Framed Canvas Prints

These are printed onto artist's canvas, the same type of material used for paintings.

The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame and finished with your choice of light wood, black or gold floating frame.

They have a more substantial, painting-like appearance, with the canvas sitting beautifully inside the frame.

They arrive fully framed and ready to hang, so there's nothing else you need to do.

Perfect if: You want something that feels closer to an original painting, makes a beautiful statement on your wall and is ready to display as soon as it arrives.

Which should you choose?

Both are beautiful ways to enjoy the artwork, and both reproduce the same painting.

If you love choosing your own frames, go for paper.

If you prefer the look of a painting and want everything ready to hang, I'd recommend framed canvas.

There's no wrong choice. It's simply about which look you prefer in your home!
