THE STORY
This collection is inspired by the idea of umwelt: that every living creature experiences only a partial version of reality, shaped by the limits of what it is able to perceive.
It made me wonder how much of what we believe to be possible is shaped by those same limits.
The landscapes in The Nineteen sit somewhere between familiar and imagined. They feel almost recognisable, but not quite, as though they might exist somewhere just beyond what we can currently see.
Light runs through every painting, usually somewhere on the horizon. To me, it represents that possibility: something not fully visible yet, but still there.

PRINTS
A short, list-only release
Prints from The Nineteen will be released directly through my studio for a limited period.
I only open my print shop a few times each year, and this release will only be available through the Collector List.
When the release closes, the shop closes too.
